Patricia O'Connor,'39, practiced a year in Charleston, West Virginia. After marrying John Lewis Halloran, Jr.in 1940, they moved to Staten Island to assist in his father's general veterinary practice. In 1942, she accepted a job offer at the Staten Island Zoo, becoming the first woman zoo veterinarian.
